An account on Openwear is called a Showbox a new word that mixes Showroom/Showcase/Toolbox. A Showbox is your starting point for being an active participant on Openwear.
You can choose between two different accounts or Showbox:
A Personal Showbox is an account for use by an individual or small informal group to promote and share their activities on Openwear community.
This type of account is useful for fashion designers, tailors, makers, artists, students but also illustrators, researchers, journalists, photographers who want to network and find collaborators, new customers, job opportunities in this new sector of fashion and garment production based on micro-productions, sustainability and collaborative work.

A Local Hub Showbox is an account if you are an individual, a small group or small enterprise who organizes services and activities related to fashion production in physical location in your local area. You could be a sewing café, a tailor lab, a silk print lab, a laser cut lab, or even a fablab likely to be involved in networking with people who produce short run and mostly hand made garments and are open to possible collaborations or public activities and meetups.
An Educational Institution Showbox is an account for use by individuals or small groups who organize activities related to fashion production inside an educational space.
