Racial discrimination on the workplace is a reality and a recent short documentary directed by Elizabeth St. Philip reflects on the reasons why american multi-cultural society is not reflected enough on fashion shows, billboards and magazines. “The colour of Beauty” follows a talented and motivated black model in her daily routine of looking for her big chance to launch her career in modeling.
The documentary is part of an online film project called Work for all promoting diversity in all parts of society, produced by the National Film Board of Canada in partnership with Human Resources and Skills Development Canada.
